Welcome to the resource page for Adult Biblical Studies. As we grow in relationship with Christ we also must grow in our knowledge and understanding of His Word. St. Jerome reminds us that "Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ" and knowledge of the scripture will help ones faith life grow in innumerable ways.
During the Second Vatican Council the Bishops clearly set the expectation that each Catholic be exposed to the richness of scripture and its place within the deposit of faith (DV 21). This year the Universal Church prepares for the Anno Paolino (Year of St. Paul). A synod on the Sacred Scripture "The Word of God in the Church has been called for and will convene in Rome Fall 2009.
This page is designed for two purposes. 1) To give Catechetical Leaders the resources and tools for faith-filled Biblical Study. 2) To give Catechetical Leaders access to the best Bible Study curricula and programs available.
