Christ the King
Holy Thursday
At sunset we begin the observance of our three High Holy Days. We encounter Jesus in Jerusalem as He meets His destiny. Traditionally, only one Mass is celebrated on Holy Thursday -- The Mass of the Lord’s Supper. At this Mass we commemorate the institution of the Eucharist, the gift of priesthood, and the washing of the feet. Afterwards we are invited to watch and pray with Jesus until midnight. There is no dismissal at the end of our celebration tonight, for the Three Days ( the TRIDUUM) are a continuous celebration of Jesus life, death, and resurrection in the City of Hosannas.
7:00 PM – Mass of the Lord’s Supper (English)
Procession to Altar of Repose in Presentation Hall following Mass for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament till midnight.

Good Friday
We continue the celebration of our TRIDUUM today as we encounter Jesus along the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. We commemorate the Lord’s Passion, Venerate the Cross, and share Holy Communion from Eucharist consecrated the night before. There is no dismissal at the end of our celebration, for the Three Days (the TRIDUUM) are a continuous celebration of Jesus life, death and resurrection in the City of Hosannas.
12:00 noon to 3:00 PM – Church open for quiet prayer
3:00 PM – Stations of the Cross (English and Spanish)
7:00 PM – Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion (with Communion) (English and Spanish)

Holy Saturday
We continue the celebration of our TRIDUUM today as we keep vigil at His tomb. At our vigil, we begin with the blessing of the Easter fire, the blessing and lighting of the Easter Candle, and the Exultet Proclamation of the coming Easter. Then we hear the story of God covenanting with his people, followed by the Baptism of adults and reception of converts into our Church. This is followed by the gospel proclaiming the Resurrection of Jesus and celebration of Confirmation. We end this joyous and solemn vigil celebration with the first Mass of Easter.
7:00 PM – Solemn Vigil of Easter (English)

Easter Sunday Masses:
6:00 AM – Life Teen Sunrise Mass in the church
9:00 AM – Mass in the church (simulcast in Presentation Hall)
11:00 AM – Mass in the church (simulcast in Presentation Hall)
1:00 PM – Spanish Mass in the church
(No evening Mass on Easter Sunday)

The following changes are for Holy Week only!
