Biographical Note

A small group, trying to meet the growing needs of those turning to their parishes for help, began meeting in 1988 on an organized basis. They gathered for exchange of ideas, mutual support, professional development, and spiritual enrichment. The specific focus for membership to the APMC is to those professional or staff persons who coordinate programs for, or minister to, persons who are in nursing homes, in hospitals, bereaved because of death, homebound, disabled, terminally ill, and/or chronically mentally ill.
