Steps in the Discernment Process
- Discuss your vocation with your family and friends
- Make an appointment with your pastor to discuss your vocation
and ask him to write a letter to the Bishop endorsing you as a
worthy applicant
- Contact the Diaconate Office to be placed on the mailing list
- Attend Inquiry Nights offered by the Office of the Diaconate
- Join a "Discernment Circle." This is a group of men
and their wives who meet monthly to pray and discuss vocational
issues.
