Engaged Encounter is designed to offer engaged couples the opportunity to dialogue honestly and intensely about their planned life together.
Engaged Encounter is specifically designed for communication (dialogue) between the couple. The focus is not group dynamics or role playing, but rather personal reflections and couple communication. The weekend is conducted by a team of two married couples, who guide discussions of all aspects of married life. Personal reflection and dialogue are the main thrust of the weekend, with communal meals and Sunday liturgy providing group participation.
The program will meet the marriage preparation requirements for engaged couples planning a first marriage in the Diocese of Phoenix. Pre-registration is required.
