Marriage Preparation & Nullity Case Certification

"With the recommendation of the Presbyteral and Pastoral Councils, the two offices (Family Life and Tribunal) have agreed to join forces and offer training programs for lay people and deacons who minister in these areas. Those who complete the programs will be certified as Marriage Preparation Ministers or Marriage Nullity Case Ministers.

We are beginning this effort with an appeal to all those deacons and lay pastoral ministers who supervise marriage preparation or submit cases to the Tribunal. It is intended that in the near future this certification will be a requirement for all such ministers, just as it is in other areas of ministry."

We are offering the program for Marriage Preparation Ministers in Phoenix to be held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center on the following Saturdays:

The fee for the series is $100.00 per person.  Scholarships are available at the pastor’s request.  All registrations must be accompanied by fee payment.   Please find registration form to make copies and distribute.
