Marriage Enrichment
Retrouvaille is a program for couples with troubled marriages, including separated or divorced couples who want their marriages to work. The program consists of a weekend experience with twelve follow-up sessions. It is designed to provide the tools to help put a couple's marriage in order again. The main emphasis is on communication between husband and wife, and gives them the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine their lives in a new and positive way.
During the weekend session, a series of presentations of informal talks are given by a team of three couples and a priest. After the presentations the participants have time in private to discuss the previous presentation as it relates to them.
During the twelve follow-up sessions, the technique learned on the weekend is further developed and is used to explore additional areas of relationship, including conflict management.
