The Sacrament of Matrimony
After five
weeks of building trust, this week is the pinnacle of the program. This session
helps the engaged to see their marriage as a Sacrament in and for the Church.
The engaged
are challenged to:
- Examine
their reasons for seeking a Catholic wedding
- Realize
that their love for each other is not just something for them. It's something
wonderfully important to the very identity and believability of the Church
in the world. They are challenged to make their love for each other so real
that Jesus' love for His people and the Church is real in our day.
- Strive
to create a great marriage that intentionally brings hope and inspiration
to the Church.
