Young People's Beginning Experience
The Young People's Beginning Experience is a structured weekend program designed to help young people between the ages of 12 and 17 who have lost a parent through death or divorce.
The program consists of a series of audio-visual presentations, personal talks, and structured activities designed to focus on the realities of personal development, loss, the single-parent family, and relationship with God.
The presenting team is comprised of both adults and teens who are trained in every aspect of the program. The team guides the presentations, small and large group discussions, recreational activities, and provides constant personal support for the young people.
Through the experience, young people are enabled to re-evaluate themselves and their families and see both in a more personal light.
