SPIRITUAL SERVICES

Consultation:

Assist parishes for their Masses and services in Spanish as well as other sacramental services. Consult parish personnel, diocesan offices and agencies in cultural and linguistic needs of the Hispanic people of the diocese.

 

Immigrants, Migrants and Refugees:

Inform priests and other religious functionaries, including lay persons in the new restrictive and complex immigration laws and policies which directly affect the immigrants, migrants and refugees, in addition to encouraging the active participation in masses, presentations and religious education for immigrants, migrants and refugees.

 

Hispanic Pastoral Center:

A centralized location for Hispanic ministry where spirituality, culture and history can be taught, shared, and reinforced. The center currently provides social, immigration, citizenship, advocacy activities and serves as a site for leadership development retreats.
