Overview of Application Process
  • Interview with Kino Faculty
  • Diocesan application form for Kino Institute
  • $20 application fee
  • Letters of recommendation from the applicant’s Pastor and one other non-related person who has known him/her for more than 2 years
  • Application for Kino Library card

There are no formal academic requirements, however the applicant must be able to read college level texts, have proficient writing skills, and be willing to make a commitment of two years to course work.

Registration Process
A participant must first schedule and meet with an academic advisor before the formal application process begins. Upon completion of the interview, and with approval of the advisor, the participant will be given an application packet, which will be filled out at the Kino administrative office. An application fee of $20 will be due at this time. Additionally, payment methods for tuition will be explained and a payment agreement will be signed.

Two letters of recommendation must be sent to the Kino registrar following the interview date. Once accepted into the program, a participant will be granted a library card.

Fees
  • Tuition is $850.00 per academic year
  • Payment can be made in one payment or through a payment agreement
  • Single-session workshop fees are $15.00 and Multi-session workshop fees are determined by the number of sessions. These fees are waived if tuition is paid in full before classes begin.
