In addition to Kino course offerings, the Diocese of Phoenix has made available the theological program called STEP (Satellite Theological Education Program), an online course through the Institute for Church Life of the University of Notre Dame. Participants may take STEP courses as an alternative way of completing pastoral specialization requirements not available through Kino.
