SB-1238 Parental Consent
SB-1238, requiring parental consent before children can receive an abortion, passed the Senate Tuesday afternoon by a vote of 17-11.
This is a huge victory for a strong parental consent law that no longer is weakened by pro-abortion amendments. The final vote in the House could occur as early as today, and is expected to be extremely close.
Please pray that those pro-abortion representatives who voted in favor of the earlier version of parental consent will stand firm and vote for final passage of this bill.
