At the spiritual request of our pastor, Father Caruso, All Saints Pastoral Council is working to foster the development of small groups to enhance our parish life.  The goal of the small group is to bring the Parish together as one spiritual family; one family with many needs, talents, contributions, concerns and voices.  In the “old times” (from the beginning of the Church to about the mid nineteen-sixties) these groups were quite common in almost every parish.  We call these groups SMALL CHURCH  COMMUNITIES.

A Small Church Community (SCC) is a group of people that regularly meet outside of church, few enough in number to sit together facing each other, who experience fellowship by discussing topics of common interest in a fun and relaxed Catholic setting.  A Small Church Community is not an “adult educational” program per se, it is not a nuclear or extended family and it does not meet merely for the sake of meeting.

Understanding that we all have a need to be heard, and to share with one another on various levels, the SCC program offers an opportunity to meet in a confidential setting of love, respect, and fellowship to discuss topics of common interests (e.g., single parents, families for Christ, and faith sharing).   The nature, or topic, of each group will depend in large part on the information we gather from you, the Parish Family.

By answering a few questions below, we can begin to understand your needs better.
