St. Catherine LaBoure’ Finance Council Minutes January 5, 2004
Present: Father Fred LeClaire, Mary DeWitt, Mike Holmes, Janeen Oquist and Verne Nadeau.
Meeting was called to order at 6:35pm. with a opening prayer from Fr. Fred..
December 1, 2003 Minutes -Verne motioned to accept the minutes as submitted. Motion seconded by Mary and passed with all in favor.
December 2003 P&L - Verne motioned to accept the P&L & Balance Sheet as submitted. Motion seconded by Mary and passed with all in favor.
Old Business - Roof has been scheduled with Applebee Construction to begin sometime around Jan 10-12th. In lieu of transferring monies from the Diocese Savings account we will make use of funds available in our General Fund.
January 23, 2004 Deacons Dinner - Ladies of St. Catherine have been asked for a donation to offset the cost of the dinner. This will be a catered and balance paid by St. Catherine’s
Counting Sheets procedures - with continued errors with the deposits, the Finance Council Member will become more active in making sure that the amounts are correct on the deposit slip and also on the counting sheets before they are turned in to the office for Tammy to post.
Manufactured Classroom - After receiving more information regarding the mobile classroom, it was decided that this be tabled until further notice. The building from Chris Balland is 3-phase electric and our plant is not set up for 3-phase. There has been no answer from the Town of Chino Valley regarding the water tanks. We will need more information prior to any new building project so that we are more prepared and not be caught with additional surprise expenses.
Building Maintenance Committee -items for their consideration are: 1. Carpet/floor covering in the St. Francis room 2. Tammy’s office remodeling
Hall Tables - when will we be replacing them with new ones?
Verne made a motion, seconded by Mary to adjourn at 7:35pm.
The next meeting will be on February 2, 2004 at :6:30pm in the rectory.
