St. Catherine Labouré Finance Council Minutes

November 11, 2004

Present: Father Fred LeClaire, Dan Mannix, Dennis Bethke, Mary DeWitt, Janeen Oquist and Verne Nadeau

Meeting was called to order at 6:10. Mary opened with a prayer.

October 2004 Minutes -Verne motioned to approve the October minutes, Dennis seconded.

October 2004 P&L - Verne motioned to accept the October P&L, Dennis seconded

New Business

Savings and Building Fund Accounts - Janeen requested that monies be sent to the Diocesan accounts. $4500 for the Building Fund and $16,000 into the General Savings account. Mary Motioned that the amounts indicated should be sent, Dennis seconded. All in favor

Collection Counters - Counting error information sheets were handed out and reviewed. Finance Council needs to be more aware of "our" duties to be sure that the collection count is correct.

Hall Floor Covering - Bids have been received for the replacement of the carpeting in the Hall with linoleum to match the existing. We are waiting for one more bid to be received. Dennis suggested that we take the lowest bid received as long as they are licensed and bonded since all bids are from referrals. Verne seconded the motion. All in favor.

Kneelers - 5 more kneelers are being purchased for the choir area.

Verne made a motion to adjourn at 7:05pm. Mary seconded.

Next Finance Council meetings will be December 9, 2004 beginning with Mass at 5:30pm.
