Parish Council

Representative body of parishioners who offer consultation to the Pastor in matters that affect the implementation of the parish vision and mission and direction of the Pastoral plan

Eight of us hold voting positions: 4 are elected by the parish for a 4 year term, 2 are appointed by the pastor and 2 hold chairs representing the Liturgical Committee and the Finance Committee.  The pastor and the parish's deacons hold non-voting chairs and take part in our meetings.  We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30  following the 7 p.m. mass.  We meet in the parish hall and our meetings are opened to all the members of the parish.
At our meetings each of us makes a report about different parish organizations their activities.  The pastor also makes a report and then we invited parish input.  We are advisory to the pastor and readily offer him our advice on any issue that's raised.
