Eight of us
hold voting positions: 4 are elected by the parish
for a 4 year term, 2 are appointed by the pastor and
2 hold chairs representing the Liturgical Committee
and the Finance Committee. The pastor and the
parish's deacons hold non-voting chairs and take
part in our meetings. We meet the first Tuesday of
the month at 7:30 following the 7 p.m. mass. We
meet in the parish hall and our meetings are opened
to all the members of the parish.
At our meetings each of us makes a report about
different parish organizations their activities.
The pastor also makes a report and then we invited
parish input. We are advisory to the pastor and
readily offer him our advice on any issue that's
raised. |
