Congratulations to the BC Football Team!

Congratulations goes out to Chris Andreadis his staff and players for winning the Matt Hanhila Sportsmanship award!

This award goes out the 2A football program that displays the best sportsmanship throughout the season. Coaches, players and spectators are judged after every game by the officiating crew. This is the third time that Bourgade Catholic has been awarded this prestigious honor. Chris will be presented this award on November 29th, 2008 at halftime of the 2A State Championship game. You can watch this on Cox 7 starting at 12pm.

BC Golfers Play Well at State Tournament

Tyler Rizzo finished in 6^{th place in the 2A State Golf
Tournament held May 5-6 at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen, Arizona.
There
were over 110 golfers in this 36 hole tournament where Tyler
shot 150. Stephen Hicks also qualified to play in the
state tournament and finished in the top 30. Congratulations to
Tyler and Stephen for the successful tournament and fantastic
year!}

Class of 2008 Cecilia Kolesar has committed to play at the

University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

Kolesar is the second player from the 2008 BC Softball Team to go Division 1! She will be on both an academic and athletic scholarship. Congrats and Goodluck!

Class of 2008, Caty Jutson Signs National Letter of Intent

Caty Jutson, senior at Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix, signed a national letter of intent to play softball with Middle Tennessee State University under head coach Sue Nevar. Caty received a full athletic scholarship to play NCAA Division I softball at MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Caty is a three year varsity letter athlete, anxious and enthusiastic to complete her fourth season as a varsity pitcher on the Bourgade Catholic High School Golden Eagles softball team. Caty Jutson has received recognition as an All-State tournament player and All-Region player. She is also a member of our BCHS letter club, Student Council and Ambassadors.
