School History

Christ the King Parish was founded in 1960; the school opened its doors in 1964. The Mission of Christ the King parish is to become a community of disciples committed to carrying on the mission of Jesus in our own time and place, cultivating the values of Hospitality, Spirituality, and Stewardship. Christ the King Catholic School aligns itself with the Parish's mission; our students practice stewardship with monthly food and item drives as well as each classroom supporting an orphan in Mexico.

Christ the King Catholic School provides a Catholic, family atmosphere, focused on supporting and nurturing the education of each child. Our school guides each student and encourages them to search for genuine meaning in life, through faith-filled experiences integral to the curriculum. A preeminent component of our curriculum is the ideal that service to others is distinguishing characteristic of a well-lived life.

We exist for the express objective of teaching our students:

to think
to give Christian service to others
to master the required curriculum
to respond optimistically to life's challenges, and to work for Catholic social justice in the world

Since leadership and creativity can be practiced in our educational setting, these objectives are fully explored and encouraged. Our diverse school, parish, and community population experiences a challenging curriculum, accompanied by sound Catholic moral development. This takes place in cooperation with parents, administration, teachers and parish partnerships.

We welcome all students seeking a Catholic faith based education.
