Submitting pictures for the website

The preferred method to submit photos for the web is to email them the web editor at this address: dsubia@diocesephoenix.org

There are two areas where the photos are used.
1. In a main story for the Local News Around the Diocese
2. In a Look Around the Diocese weekly movie.

When sending photos, we prefer them in a .jpg format. Please send the photo in the original size from the camera. This allows us to crop the photo to the best size and composition.
Also, in the body of the email, send a caption for each picture, with the basic who, what, where, when and why. The caption is more endearing when it says “Jenny O’ Conner, Senior at Xavier, meets the Bishop at the 3rd annual meet the Bishop Dinner” as opposed to “A Student at Xavier meets the Bishop at a Dinner.” Please provide as much information as possible.

Printed photos can also be sent to the web editor where we will scan and digitize the photo. If you want the photos returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope to
