Vocation Story

My story, more or less, starts as I started teaching RE classes for middle school kids.  It was a lot of fun along with my own classed for Confirmation I learned a lot and got really interested in the Faith.  From there I  began doing more at my parish.  I  would Lector and  eventually became a Eucharistic Minister.  Along  with spending time in Adoration, my participation at the Mass really was a humbling  experience. Throughout this time some people would mention the priesthood, but for the most part I just blew it off.  During this time I really saw how confused teenagers, and people in general, are over what life should be about and what would make them happy.  It would break my heart to see what people went through over petty things because they thought it would make them feel better.  I felt so helpless, even when there was something I could do, it just never seemed to get through to them.  So I finally had to ask the question.  All I knew was that God was the only One who knew what was best for me, and could help give the Love everyone was looking for and all I wanted to do was share that, so I listened.  Ultimately I came to the conclusion that I needed to continue to discern at a seminary.  So here I am.
