Diocese of Phoenix, in partnership with Loyola University of New Orleans Institute of Ministry offers two Master's Degrees on-site in the Phoenix area and Northern Arizona. Students for groups that study and stay together through 10 of the 12 courses. Courses consist of 10 three-hour sessions that involve discussions of printed lectures  and other assigned readings, videotaped input by nationally known scholars, and other educational interactions.  Students also choose two courses in a focus area of study as listed below. The schedule is flexible and set by the learning group.


Two Master's Degrees are offered through the LIMEX
(Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension) program:
 

  1. Religious Education    or

  2.  Pastoral Studies (in the following focus areas)  

    1.  Pastoral Life and Administration

    2. Christian Spirituality for Ministers

    3. Youth Ministry

    4. Hispanic Ministry

    5. Small Christian Community Formation

    6. Religion and Ecology

    7. Marketplace Ministry

Youth Ministry Advanced Certification 

  - Fall 2006 - Spring 2007

Courses are held every other week starting September 20th, 2006

9:30A- approximately 3:00 PM each Wednesday at the Diocesan Pastoral Center.  Cost is $20.00 per course.   Each class CD is available at the cost or $10.00 if you are unable to attend the class each Wednesday.
